”I did the Muscle Oxygen threshold test on Zwift, and now I relate my effort to my Muscle Oxygen zones. It is super easy to have one number to look at and knowing that if I ride at 50% Muscle Oxygen, I get the same training quality even if I am tired.”
We had a brief chat with Christian
Christian is 42 years old and has ridden his bike for more than 20 years and has raced for 3.
Christian works shifts, and he sometimes has long weekends at work. It is important to Christian that this doesn’t mean that he doesn’t get to spend time with his family, so that means less sleep. If he goes for a ride the day after, he feels a big difference between how tough 300 watts feels like, when compared to a day when he was fresher.

“I often train without enough rest, this affects my body a lot – I can clearly see that on my oxygen levels, which is already low when I leave home.”
“When i do intervals after a 14-hour shift, I quickly discovered that my Muscle Oxygen was significantly lower if I produced the same watts as If i was fully rested. This was a real eye-opener for me! Therefore, i ride with GRASPOR on my handlebar now, and ride exclusively to my Muscle Oxygen zones.
Do like Christian, train smart – at the right intensity!
What is GRASPOR?
GRASPOR provides direct insight into muscle activation and muscle oxygenation. These two parameters can give you an understanding of how stress on the muscle changes over the course of a workout, even though the watts produced remain unchanged.
